ITCM is part of the specialist engineering group, Molins PLC. The business was established in 1985, initially as a Technical Centre of Excellence to aid the group’s existing businesses with new product and machinery development. ITCM soon began developing its own products and services and today supports companies around the world with design and build of innovative machinery solutions for both processing and packaging of consumer products.

Molins was established over 130 years ago and has since developed a wealth of experience in high performance machinery and services for both processing and packaging.

Molins is an international business, combining service and support with the design, engineering and manufacturing of specialist machinery for the fast moving consumer goods market, including food, pharma, healthcare, tobacco and other high volume products. ITCM’s skills in the packaging arena are complimented by Langen Inc, based in Toronto, Canada and Langenpac, in Wijchen, Holland. 1912 Molins Machine Company Ltd founded in London

1931 Molins Machine Company Inc. incorporated in Richmond, Virginia

1964 Molins do Brasil is formed and the first machine sales to China are made

1976 Molins is publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange

1985 Molins establishes ITCM as a separate Innovation Technology Centre

1996 Pyramid® bag for PG Tips is launched by Unilever®

1997 ITCM moves to larger premises on Westwood Business Park

2002 ITCM awarded the Exceptional Vendor of the year award from GSK

2003 ITCM wins Starpack Gold Award for Cafusa™ single-serve coffee innovation

2006 ITCM wins top award for Customer Service, UK Packaging Awards, nominated by Dow Corning

2007 ITCM opens major extension, doubling capacity for machine build and development
