This involves a wide range of technologies including; PLC’s, microprocessors and servo drive systems. Combined with signal processing this allows control, condition monitoring and diagnostics.

Programming systems used include Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s, C and Visual BASIC, robot programming and vision systems.

Methods employed include GAMP, Templates (generic functionality), Configuration Management and Change Control.
